On Monday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 6.8, down 0.2 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 15.4, down 0.4 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson, where the flood stage is 12 feet, was 4.0, down 0.0 feet in the past 24 hours.

Brookhaven Fire Department

The Brookhaven Fire Department reports to a fire alarm at 1212 Brookway Boulevard. Firefighters responded at approximately 5:15 a.m. and discovered steam from a shower had set off the alarm. Firefighters cleared the scene at 5:26 a.m.

Highway Patrol Reports

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reports to a two-vehicle accident Sunday morning at 9:57 a.m. The accident occurred off of Highway 51 on Bogue Chitto Road. No injuries were reported. Troop M also reported to a two-vehicle car accident Monday at 6:09 a.m. The incident occurred on I-55 near mile marker 28. Injuries were reported. Highway Patrol reported another incident Monday at 2:21 p.m. on Highway 583 south of 84. No injuries were reported.

King’s Daughters Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 12 calls Monday; three were transfers, with all three to Jackson. There were 9 emergency calls, with two medical, one in the city and one in the county. There were four traumas two in the city and two in the county. There were three motor vehicle accidents in the county.
