Funeral services for Mark Baker Prichard were Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Rev. Jim Holcomb and Tommy Wilson delivered the eulogy. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Prichard, 55, died Monday, Nov. 16 at his home in Bogue Chitto. Mark had a close relationship with Christ and loved any opportunity to share The word of God with others. He was a loving father, grandfather, husband, son, brother and friend. Mark took great pride in his refrigeration business, something he enjoyed since he was a young boy working with his father. He enjoyed motor cross racing at a young age and shared that hobby with his son, Landon Baker. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughter Markka, who was named after him, and always warned her that “all boys are bad”. His daughter, Morgan, recently gave birth to his first grandchild, Duke, and he loved visiting him and bought him his first set of tools. Mark recently became married and enjoyed spending time with his wife, Dixie. Anyone who knew Mark could tell you how much he adored his children and family.

Mark is survived by one son, Landon Baker Prichard of Booneville, two daughters, Markka Prichard of Booneville and Morgan (Colby) Arceneaux of New Orleans, Louisiana, his wife Dixie, His father, R.B. Prichard of Booneville, One brother, Jan of Booneville, two sisters, Lisa of Ringgold, Louisiana and Amy of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Pallbearers were Tommy Wilson, Steve Eaton, Jimmy Blassingame, Ronald Michael, Billy Price, Wyatt Price and W.L. Sanders.
