Funeral services for Veta Grace Reeves are 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at Topisaw Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Topisaw Baptist Church.

Mrs. Reeves, 100, of Ruth, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at her residence. She was born on April 13, 1915, to Joe and Lula Smith Wallace.

She worked at Stahl-Urban as a seamstress and was a member of Topisaw Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years and sang in the choir.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 54 years, Paul Reeves; daughter, Martha Lou Reeves; brothers, Virgil Wallace, Vermon Wallace and Versie Wallace; and sisters, Myrtle Wallace and Edivee Wallace Alexander.

Survivors are her son, Lynn B. Reeves; daughter-in-law, Carla D. Bass; two grandchildren, Sarah Reeves Owens and husband, Conley, of Mountain View, California and Eric Reeves of Hattiesburg; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
