Dewey and Dana Lofton announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Karlie Layne Lofton, of Brookhaven, to Kevin Michael Herring, of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Richard and Brenda Herring, of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of the late William and Beverly Anne Atwell, the late Charles Lofton and Joyce Lofton, of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of the late Roy and Katie Sue Herring and the late L.V. and Idell Boyd.

The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She is currently employed with Magnolia Estates of Brookhaven.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Brookhaven High School and Co-Lin Community College. He is currently employed with Turner Industries.

The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016, at The Hideaway at Reed’s Estate. A reception will follow.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
