Funeral services for Jacqueline G. “Jackie” Price are Friday, June 15, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Hartman’s Funeral Home Chapel on Delaware Ave. with burial in Hollywood Cemetery. Dr. Woody Rimes will officiate. Pallbearers are Austin Price, Blake Price, Tyler Scoggins, Matthew Goodwin, Sarah Goodwin and Carley Price.  Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Payne, Rylan Price and Will Price. Jones Family Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from 5 until 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until time of services at Hartman Funeral Home on Delaware Ave.

Mrs. Price, 80, of McComb, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at her residence. She was born March 23, 1936, in Morton to Aaron Gillis and Bonnie Tolar Gillis.

Mrs. Price worked in sales for Martha’s Bridal in McComb for 27 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of McComb for the last 45 years. She leaves behind a legacy of Christian values to all who knew her. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother and a great “Maw Maw Jack.”

Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Gary Price; two brothers, Aaron Gillis and Billy Gillis; one sister, Barbara Kern; two sisters-in law, Vera Mae Gillis and Betty Gillis; and one brother-in-law, Denver Smith.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, Phillip R. Price of McComb; one son, Phil Price and wife, Tina, of Gulfport; one daughter, Jenny Duvall and husband, Dan, of McComb; one brother, Jimmy Gillis of Brookhaven; one sister, Peggy Smith of Brookhaven; seven grandchildren, Sarah Goodwin and husband, Matthew, Tyler Scoggins and wife, Krista, Carley Price, Austin Price, Blake Price, Rylan Price and Will Price; one great-grandchild, Kaileigh Goodwin; one sister-in-law, Nora Price; two brothers-in-law, Richard Price and wife, Faye and Willard Price and wife, Jane; and other family and friends.
