Cade Watson of Brookhaven Academy has been selected as the Youth of the Month for the month of January by the Exchange Club of Brookhaven.

At Brookhaven Academy, Watson is a member of the Junior High football, basketball and baseball teams, and is a member of the Junior National Honor Society.

He has been the district spelling champion, state science fair winner and has participated in the state math competition. He is a T.I.P. Duke Scholar with state recognition for ACT scores.

Watson and his family attend Mount Zion Baptist Church where he is a member of the youth group. He is the son of Drs. Bob and Diane Watson.
