Players on the Brookhaven Lady Panthers’ softball team cry for their teammate, Brittney Hill, who died on Good Friday on her way to prom. The team released red and blue balloons in her memory Thursday night prior to their “Pink” game, which is played to bring awareness to breast cancer. Visitation for Hill, a junior outfielder for Ole Brook, is set for today from 1 to 5 p.m. at Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven and from 6 to 7 p.m. for family hour at Cornerstone Church of God in Christ. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Alexander Junior High with burial at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The Lady Panthers will be flower bearers at the service.
