GULFPORT (AP) — Authorities say a man was fatally shot before his body was found in his crashed vehicle.

WLOX-TV reports that Gulfport police say the man’s truck collided with another car at an apartment complex Saturday.

Police say the collision caused damage to the car, and one of the apartment buildings. Further investigation revealed the man was fatally shot. Officials say the body of another man was found nearby. He also suffered a deadly gunshot wound.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing. The identities of the victims weren’t immediately released.
