• Lifting assistance at Eastview Apartments at 9:25 a.m.

• Motor vehicle accident on Brookway Boulevard at 11:31 a.m.

• False alarm on East Monticello Street at 6:13 p.m.

Monticello reports

The Monticello Police Department reported no activity Wednesday.

The Monticello Fire Department reported no activity Wednesday.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Wednesday.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reports for Wednesday were as follows:

• Theft on Fourth Street

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department responded to one call Wednesday: A disabled 18-wheeler at I-55 exit 51 was blocking Sylvarena Road. The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department assisted the Sheriff’s office with traffic control.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday on Hwy. 84 East.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 13 calls Wednesday. Five were transfers, with two to Jackson, one to Pike County and two in the city. There were eight emergency calls; two medical, with one in the city and one in the county; three traumas, with two in the city and one in the county; three motor vehicle accidents, with one in the city and two in the county.
