Tony and Tonya Boswell announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Charlee Boswell, of Brookhaven, to Jeremy Laird, of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Scotty and Vonda Laird.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Calvin Smith, the late Charlene Smith, the late John Boswell and the late Mary Boswell.

Miss Boswell is a 2011 graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center and a 2014 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College, with a degree in nursing. She is employed as a nurse at Comprehensive Pain Specialist.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Edwin and Elaine Smith, and Sam and Sue Laird.

Mr. Laird is a 2012 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center. He is employed as a boilermaker for Miller Mechanical.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at 6 p.m. at Ole Towne Church in Brookhaven.

A reception will follow.
