JACKSON (AP) — Police are investigating after someone fired gunshots into cars and an apartment in Jackson.

WJTV-TV reports that the shootings happened before dawn Friday at an apartment complex on Northside Drive.

Officers found several cars damaged by the gunfire as well as an apartment which had been shot into.

The TV station reports that a man was later located at a hospital and told officers he’d been shot while outside the apartment complex. Police said his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, and no other injuries were reported.
