A memorial service for Donna Yvonne Chornenki Felder, 72, of McCall Creek, was held Sept. 25, 2017, at Grace Baptist Church in Brookhaven. Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, in Perrysburg, Ohio, handled her cremation arrangements.

Mrs. Felder, 72, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, peacefully in her sleep.

She was born Dec. 31, 1944, to John and Myrtle (Conrad) Chornenki in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She grew up in California where she later raised her own children. She married Ken Felder June 8, 1974.

She held many jobs, including pastor’s wife and truck driver, but her most important roles were wife, mother and grandmother. Her example of godly living and homemaking touched the lives of many. Her door was always open, and she made every person who walked through it feel incredibly welcome.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Ken Felder, of McCall Creek; two sons and daughters-in-law; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; many additional family members; special friends, and “adopted” family.
