The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a power surge at 5:18 p.m. Wednesday on Williams Street. No injuries were reported.

The Wesson Police Department issued a single traffic ticket Wednesday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday on I–55 at mile marker 31.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 21 calls Wednesday. Nine were transfers, with six to Jackson and three in the county. There were 12 emergency calls; eight medical, with one in the city and seven in the county; one trauma in the city; three MVAs, with one in the city and two in the county.
