Funeral services for Faye Anglin Cole, of Shady Grove will be Wednesday, Jan 3, 2018, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto  at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Natchez Drive today, Jan. 2, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. and resume at the church Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Cole, 89, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born Oct. 31, 1928, to George Bell Anglin and Lillie Pearl Denson Anglin as the seventh of 10 children. She married Oscar Warren Cole March 17, 1956, and settled in the Shady Grove community near Ruth where they lived for most of the 53 years of their marriage until his death on Jan. 3, 2010.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; three brothers, Holland Anglin, Laymone Anglin and Billy Anglin; and five sisters, Desiree Reynolds, Lillie Belle Buie, Louise Coghlan, Jeannine Martin and Bette Jo Valentine.

Survivors are her sister, Delilah Boos Shaw; daughter, Marcia Walker and her husband Larry; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

The family extends its sincere thanks to her neighbors and staff at Sunnybrook Estates in Madison, who made her too-brief stay so enjoyable, and to the doctors and nurses at Baptist Medical Center for their professional and compassionate care.

Memorials in Faye Cole’s name may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church, General Fund.
