Samuel Stanley Frankl

A memorial service for Samuel Stanley Frankl, of Brookhaven, will be today, Feb. 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church in Brookhaven.

Mr. Frankl, 69, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018. He was born Jan. 12, 1949, to Larry and Frances Mayer Frankl, in Israel. He moved to Germany, and he considered himself a native of Germany. After immigrating to the United States from Germany as a child, he eventually ended up in Brookhaven. He and his loving wife, Anne, were very active in Civil War reenactments. He was a member of BPOE Lodge #2477 in Thousands Oaks California, American Red Cross and Camp Moore Confederate Museum and Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Anne Tebbetts-Frankl; son, Geoff Frankl; daughter, Katherine Frankl; two grandchildren; and many loving friends in the reenacting, Elks and Red Cross communities.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Camp Moore Museum at P.O. Box 25, Tangipahoa, Louisiana, 70465 or to the American Red Cross.
