Funeral services for Peggy Jean Nettles Ritchie, of Natchez, are Friday, May 11, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Laird Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Visitation will be today, May 10, 2018, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and continuing Friday, May 11, 2018, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ritchie, 84, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, Louisiana. She was born Sept. 11, 1933, in Bogue Chitto. She was a member of the Lismore Baptist Church in Monterey, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, W. E. Nettles and Elizabeth Nettles; husband, Bobby Glynn Ritchie; son, Michael Wayne Ritchie; two sisters, Kathleen Garren and Sara Joyce Butler; and two brothers, James Edward Nettles and Walter Jeff Nettles.

Survivors are her two sons, Steve Ritchie, of Natchez, and Tony Ritchie and wife, Beth, of Frisco, Texas; three grandchildren, Nolan Ritchie, of Frisco, Texas, Byron Ritchie and wife, Misty, of New Roads, Louisiana, and Jeanne Weeks; four great-grandchildren, Shelby, Kaylie, Jordan, and Jesse; one sister, Becky N. Vaughn-Furlow, of Brookhaven; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
