Funeral services for Ann Elaine Smith, of Brookhaven, are Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven. Bro. Nathan Case and Jeff Lee will officiate the services with burial at New Sight Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Cupit presiding.

Visitation will be today, May 16, 2018, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Mrs. Smith, 70, died Monday, May 14, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Aug. 24, 1947, to Clifton and Joyce Smith Crane. She was an employee of Trustmark Bank for 37 years. For those who knew her, no words are necessary; for those who didn’t know her, no words are adequate. She enjoyed traveling, especially with her husband, Eugene, and taking road trips with the ladies from the bank. She enjoyed cooking, hosting Sunday dinner at her home, and attending her grandchildren’s ball games and events. She was a wonderful, sweet lady who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Eugene Rowan Smith.

Survivors are her sons, Jeffrey Smith and wife Dana, Michael Smith and wife, Beth; daughter, Shelley Lee and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Erica Kent and husband, Colby, Carly Young and husband, Ryan, Melody Smith and Grant Lee.
