Nellie Mae Jackson, 91, died Saturday, May 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Aug. 6, 1926, in Brookhaven to Hamlin and Mamie Norton Smith. She was a sweet and caring lady who loved the Lord. She was a dedicated member of Macedonia Baptist Church, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Martis E. Jackson and William V. “Bill” Warren; brothers, Holton, Colon, Robert and Leroy Smith; sisters, Irene and Wessie Smith.

Survivors are her son, Jay Jackson (Judy); sister, Rowena Maxwell; grandchildren, Marty Jackson (Angela), Lindsey Jackson (Leila), Lacey Smith (Ryan), Dalton “Dusty” Case (Trish), and Mark Case; great-grandchildren, Shyann and Chase Jackson, Jackson and Jase Smith, Kellie Smith, Brittany, Lindsey and Dylan Case; very special niece, Laverne Lea; and friend, Brenda Smith.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
