Funeral services for Lucille Priest, of Bude, are today, July 3, 2018, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Bude with burial at Midway Cemetery in Meadville. Rev. Rodney Jones and Rev. Webb Armstrong will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation was held Monday, July 2, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Priest, 91, died Saturday, June 30, 2018, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born April 8, 1927, in Franklin County, to Mr. Elbert Ezell and Mrs. Nettie Ezell. She was a longtime, faithful member Bude First Baptist Church where she worshiped Jesus Christ as savior, supported all church functions and witnessed to countless people seeking a better life. She was known as a very active worker around her house, a master gardener that spent countless hours caring for her plants. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother that loved her family very much.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Woodrow Priest; two sisters, Edith Davis, Ethel Ratcliff; and two brothers, J.L. Ezell and Cecil Ezell.

Survivors are her son, Mike Priest and wife Sharon, of Meadville; sister, Irene Priest, of Meadville; two brothers, Claude Ezell, and wife Pat, of Meadville, Donald Ezell and wife Melba, of Meadville; grandchildren, Brook Chisholm, Kelly Priest Anding; great-grandchildren, Destin, Lee, LeAnn, Mayce, Dakota, Gabby, Kaitlynn; and one great-great-grandson, Maddox Chisholm; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Hunter Ezell, Ronnie Priest, Anthony Kent, Buddy Godbold, Lee Chisholm and Dakota Chisholm. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Kent, Dr. W.B. “Bill” Larkin and Carl Wactor.
