Funeral services for Mary George Collins, of Brookhaven are Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, July 10, 2018, from 5:30 until 8 p.m. at the church and will continue Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Collins, 84, died Monday, July 9, 2018, at her residence. She was born Aug. 20, 1933, to the late James Laffette Dalton and Edna Edrie Minyard Dalton. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Brookhaven. She served on the nursing home ministry, LLL Program and the Joy choir. She was an independent Mary Kay consultant for 34 years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Robert “Bobby” McKinley Collins; son, James Marcus Collins; granddaughter, Hillary Claire Collins; sisters, Geri Petrazak and Doris McDaniel; and sister-in-law, Gwen Dalton.

Survivors are her son, Robert “Kent” McKinley Collins Jr. and wife, Vickie; daughter, Carolyn Collins Stephens and husband, Marty; Lisa Collins Walsh and husband, Matthew; brother, Jimmy Dan Dalton; eight grandchildren, Jacob Collins, Amanda Collins Gardner and husband, Cliff, Hannah Collins, Erin Collins Walsh, Ashley Dalton Stephens, Andrew Collins Walsh, Clint Stephens and Elena Walsh; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Tucker Gardner; and honorary son, Billy Floyd.

Memorials can be made to Hospice Ministries or First Baptist Church Brookhaven.
