Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a false alarm at 5:53 p.m. Thursday on River Road. No injuries were reported. They responded to a possible stove fire at 5:42 p.m. on Powell Street. They also responded to a smoke scare at 11:45 p.m. on Mary Street.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 14 calls Thursday. Four were transfers, with one to Jackson, two to Pike County and one in the county. There were 10 emergency calls; three medical, with one in the city and two in the county; six MVAs, with five in the city and one in the county; and one cardiac in the city.
