A Celebration of Life service for Mary Roberta Smith Wade, of Brookhaven, was held Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wade, 89, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born on June 21, 1929, to the late, Sam and Alma Smith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Charles H. Smith Sr. and Jeff Wade; grandson, Greg Smith; and aunt, Blanche O’Quinn.

Survivors are her son, Charles Henry Smith Jr.; daughters, Mary Margaret Britt and husband, Gene, Kathy Ann King and husband, Trent, and Shelia Nell George and husband, Greg; seven grandchildren, Lisa Spurlock, Kristine Smith, Kimberly Smith, Kyle Britt, Russ Britt, Cameron George and Calvin George; and six great grandchildren.
