Funeral services for Shirley Ann Hutson Hennington, of Wesson, were held Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Sylvarena Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was held Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Hennington, 69, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was born Feb. 12, 1949, to Wilmer Curtis Hutson and Mildred Elene Ritchie Hutson. She worked for Sunflower Food Stores for many years as a deli manager where she loved to cook and was known for her good food and catering. She then started in the Copiah County Tax Collector’s office as a deputy collector where she worked for 17 years. She loved making and painting porcelain dolls that was a dear hobby of hers.

She was a member of Sylvarena Baptist Church and will be missed by her family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents; and two brothers, Carroll Miller Hutson and Wilmer “Buddy” Hutson.

Survivors are her husband of 53 plus years, James Caroll Hennington; son, David Caroll Hennington and wife, Holly Brooke; daughters, Sherry Darlene Lewis and husband, Mike, Laurie H. Chassion and husband, Joey; brother, Randy Hutson; sisters, Joy Wesbrooks, Gloria Millwood, Marilynn Britt, Rita Fuller, Ginene Walker and Dixie Thornton; five grandchildren, Trey Chassion, Hailey Perrin Chassion, Anna Michael Lewis, Ava Mae Hennington and George Henry Rowan Hennington; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Sylvarena Baptist Church Cemetery
