Dr. and Mrs. Gregory (Amye) Howell announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Howell of Brookhaven, to Trace Truman Palmer of Byram.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Toby (Amy) Palmer.

The bride-elect is granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Redding of Clinton, the Rev. Glenn Howell of Magee and the late Mary Howell.

Miss Howell is a 2012 graduate of the Mississippi School of Mathematics and Science and a 2015 graduate of Mississippi College, with a degree in biology: medical science.

She is a third year student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jerrell Herrington of Union, the Rev. P.T. Palmer of Byram and the late Maxine Palmer.

Mr. Palmer is a 2012 graduate of Terry High School and a 2016 graduate of Mississippi College, with a degree in biology: medical science.

He is a third year student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at First United Methodist Church in Brookhaven. Formal invitations will be sent.
