Funeral services for Gwendlyn Holland Davis, of Brookhaven, are Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Brookhaven with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park in Brookhaven. Riverwood Family in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, from 1 p.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Davis, 92, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born Feb. 27, 1926, to Ned Baker Holland and Pauline Phillips Holland. She was a bookkeeper and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. She was also a member of King’s Daughters Foundation, King’s Daughters board of directors, Lifetime member of Junior Auxiliary, Willing Hearts Circle Member, Climbers Club, Krewe of Ceres, Brookhaven Trust charter member and Altar Guild of the Episcopal Church of The Redeemer.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Iddo Lampton Davis Sr.; grandson, Stephen Jarrod Davis; great-granddaughter, Blair Elizabeth Ezell; and sister, Nettie Carper.

Survivors are her son, Iddo Lampton Davis Jr. and wife Lynn; daughters, Pam Cummins and husband Jimmy, and Barbara Nell Davis; four grandchildren, Beth Cummins Perkins and husband, Todd, Stasha Davis Ezell, Coleman Cummins and wife, Jenny and Leslee Lampton Davis Smith and husband, Chad; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be made to the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, P.O. Box 804, Brookhaven, MS 39602, or a charity of your choice.
