Funeral services for Ella Mae Roberts, of Brookhaven, are today, Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in at 2 p.m. with burial to follow in the Easthaven Cemetery. Bro. Randy Coker will be officiating the service.

Visitation will be today, Dec. 29, 2018, from noon until time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts, 84, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at Edgewood Nursing Home in Byram.  She was born Oct. 12, 1934, in Brookhaven, to Roy Pennington and Jessie Maude James Pennington. She was a member of Southway Baptist Church in Brookhaven. She enjoyed life to the fullest, going out to eat and selling Avon products, where she worked for over 48 years. Mrs. Roberts was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands Hollis Tillman and Murphy Roberts; and sister, Vera Maude Lambert.

Survivors are son, Kenneth Lee Tillman and wife Ann, of Monticello; two grandchildren, Leann and Lisa Smith; six great-grandchildren; brothers Johnny Pennington and James Saulters, both of Texas; and a host of family and friends.
