Betty Winborne Smallwood Boone passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019, in Vicksburg. She was born July 11, 1939, in Brookhaven, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Boone; her parents, William Troy and Virgie Smith Winborne; her brother, Billy Ray Winborne; and a son-in-law, Monty Dement.

Survivors include her sister, Sue Smith (Glynn); daughters: Vickie Tart (Mike), Gayle Dolan, Judy Whitam (Cliff), Kay McDaniel (Robert), and Gaye Stokes (Paul); her grandchildren: Michelle Tart, Michael Tart (Emily), Joshua and Michael Ryan Whitam, Montana and Justin McDaniel, Dylan and Austin Dement, Brayden Stokes, and Derek Dolan; and two great-grandsons, Evan and Luke Tart.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019, at Riles Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service.

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Tart, Robert McDaniel, Paul Stokes and Cliff Whitam.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
