• Joseph D. Piot Jr. pleaded guilty Sept. 17, 2018, to a charge of possession of more than 40 doses of hydrocodone. He was sentenced by Taylor to 20 years with 16 years suspended for four years to serve and then five years of post-release supervision under the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

• David B. Weiss pleaded guilty on Sept. 17, 2018, to a charge of possession of at least one-tenth but less than 2 grams of methamphetamine. He was sentenced by Taylor to complete the drug court program.

• Reubin Scott White pleaded guilty Sept. 17, 2018, to two counts of aggravated assault and three counts of simple assault. He was sentenced by Taylor to 15 years with five years suspended for 10 years to serve and then five years of post-release supervision under the MDOC.

• Heather Michelle Wacker pleaded guilty Sept. 17, 2018, to two counts, with count one being conspiracy to commit burglary and count two being burglary of a building. She was sentenced by Taylor to serve in the drug court program.

• Shunta Harris was charged with a felonious bad check on Sept. 7, 2017. She filed for an order of nolle prosequi on Sept. 17, 2018.

• Peter Joshua Pickens pleaded guilty Sept. 17, 2018, to possession of more than 20 but less than 40 doses of methamphetamine. He was sentenced by Taylor to 10 years with seven years suspended for three years to serve, and then five years of post-release supervision under the MDOC.

• Christopher Stringer was charged on April 21, 2017, with three counts of unlawful possession; less than 30 grams of marijuana with intent to distribute, at least 10 but less than 30 grams of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His case was remanded on Sept. 18, 2018.

• Jeffery Paxton pleaded guilty Sept. 18, 2018, to a charge of unlawful possession of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine. He was sentenced by Taylor as a habitual criminal into the custody of the MDOC to eight years to serve day-for-day. He was not eligible for parole or probation, nor a suspension or reduction of his sentence.

• Anthony D. Thomas pleaded guilty Sept. 18, 2018, to a charge of unlawful sale of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of cocaine. He was sentenced by Taylor to eight years with five years suspended for three years to serve and then five years of post-release supervision under the MDOC.

• Christopher Stringer pleaded guilty Sept. 18, 2018, to a charge of unlawful sale of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of cocaine within 1,500 feet of a church. He was sentenced by Taylor as a habitual criminal to 15 years to serve for day-for-day. He was not eligible for parole or probation, nor a suspension or reduction of his sentence.

• Jeffery Paxton was charged Dec. 16, 2016, with the unlawful sale of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine within 1,500 feet of a church. He filed for an order of nolle prosequi on Sept. 18, 2018.

• Christopher Stringer was charged May 4, 2016, with the unlawful sale of less than two grams of cocaine. His case was remanded on Sept. 18, 2018.

• Christopher Stringer was charged July 28, 2016, with the unlawful sale of less than two grams of cocaine within 1,500 feet of a church. His case was remanded on Sept. 18, 2018.

• Christopher Dotson pleaded guilty Sept. 18, 2018, to a charge of unlawful possession of at least 30 grams but less than 250 grams of marijuana. He was sentenced by Taylor to serve three years under the MDOC and then one year in the Intensive Supervision Program.

• Christopher Stringer was charged April 30, 2017, with the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His case was remanded on Sept. 18, 2018.

• Zayrick Taylor was charged Oct. 25, 2016, to charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault. He filed for an order of nolle prosequi on Aug. 18, 2018.

• Christopher Dotson was charged with the unlawful sale of a counterfeit substance on Dec. 20, 2017. He filed for nolle prosequi on Sept. 17, 2018.

• Ganeiro Richardson pleaded guilty Sept. 16, 2017, to a charge of the unlawful possession of at least two but less than 10 doses of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a stolen weapon. He was sentenced by Taylor on Sept. 18, 2018, to serve three years with three years suspended for five years of probation under the direction of the MDOC.

• Zayrick K. Taylor pleaded guilty Oct. 3, 2017, to a charge of the unlawful sale of less than two grams of cocaine. He was sentenced by Taylor on Sept. 18, 2018, to eight years with five years suspended for three years to serve and then five years of post-release supervision under the direction of the MDOC.

• Anthony Britt Moore pleaded guilty Sept. 23, 2017, to a charge of the unlawful possession of at least two but less than 10 doses of oxycodone and the unlawful possession of at least two but less than 10 doses of hydrocodone. He was sentenced by Taylor Sept. 18, 2018, to serve three years with three years suspended for five years of probation under the direction of the MDOC.

• Samantha King was charged Jan. 21, 2007, to a charge of the unlawful possession of at least two but less than 10 grams of methamphetamine. She filed for nolle prosequi Sept. 19, 2018.

• Leslie Burgess pleaded guilty Jan. 7, 2011, to a charge of felonious bad check. Her charge was amended to misdemeanor bad check by Taylor on Oct. 29, 2018.

• Sylvester Williams pleaded guilty May 27, 2017, to charges of felony fleeing, malicious mischief and possession of firearm by a convicted felon. He was sentenced by Taylor to serve 10 years day for day. He was not eligible parole or probation, nor to have his sentence reduced or suspended.

• Shalesia Watson was charged Jan. 20, 2017, to a charge of felonious bad check. She field for nolle prosequi Sept. 18, 2018.

• James E. Howard Jr. was charged July 26, 2016, to a charge of unlawful sale of at least two but less than 10 doses of methamphetamine within 1,500 feet of a church. He was remanded to file Sept. 24, 2018.

• Christopher David Buitt pleaded guilty Feb. 3, 2017, to charges of unlawful possession of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of at least two but less than 10 doses of oxycodone, unlawful possession of at least two but less than 10 doses of hydrocodone and unlawful possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana. He was sentenced by Taylor Sept. 24, 2018, to serve three years in the MDOC and to complete one year in the Intensive Supervision Program.

• James Howard Jr. pleaded guilty May 2, 2017, to charges of unlawful trafficking of more than 40 doses of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was sentenced by Taylor Sept. 24, 2018, to serve 20 years with eight years suspended for 12 years to serve and then five years of post-release supervision under the direction of the MDOC.

• Maverick Trent Smith pleaded guilty Nov. 19, 2017, to a charge of unlawful possession of at least two but less than 10 doses of hydrocodone. He was sentenced by Taylor Sept. 24, 2018, to serve one year with one year suspended for two years good behavior probation.
