Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kenneth Welch Jr., of Bogue Chitto, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Rheagan Welch to Garrett Holden, of Richland.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Holden III and Mr. and Mrs. Dewey W. Dooley II of Loyd Star.

Miss Welch is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kenneth Welch Sr. of Bogue Chitto and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Boyd of Bogue Chitto.

Mr. Holden is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Holden Jr. of Pearl, Mr. and Mrs. Gary M. Schutz of Brookhaven, and the late Mr. Lance Roberson Sr. of Savannah, Georgia.

The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Bogue Chitto Attendance Center and a graduate of Southwest Mississippi Community College with a degree in nursing. She is employed as a licensed practical nurse at King’s Daughters Medical Center Pediatric Clinic.

The prospective groom is a 2012 graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center. He is employed as an electrician at IBEW Local Union 480.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at 6 p.m. at Ole Towne Church in Brookhaven. A reception will follow.

Friends and family are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
