Timothy and Teresa Allred announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Jane Doty of Bogue Chitto, to Aaron Byrd of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Karl and Dana Byrd.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Billy and Doris Howse.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Darrell and Diana Smith.

Miss Doty is a 2017 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center. She is employed at Three Sisters’ Boutique.

Mr. Byrd is a 2017 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center. He is employed at Karly Byrd Logging.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Estates in Summit.
