Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Helen Elaine Lofton Magee will be on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at McCall Creek Church of God Cemetery in McCall Creek, MS, at 2 p.m. with burial to follow in the same cemetery. Bro. Travis Touchstone will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Magee, 87, of Brandon MS, passed from this life on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born on Dec. 24, 1932, in McCall Creek, MS, to Percy Lee “Bill” Lofton and Agnes Smith Lofton. She was a member of McCall Creek Baptist Church in McCall Creek, MS, and enjoyed camping, spending time with family, gospel singing, as well as a good game of dominoes. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Steve E. Magee Sr.; son, Gary L. Magee; and brother, Roy Gene Lofton.

Survivors are her sons, Steve Magee Jr. and wife Janet of Brandon, MS, and Larry E. Magee and wife Cathy of Rowlette, TX; daughter-in-law, Nancy Magee; grandchildren, Edward Magee, Michael Magee and Paige Smith; six great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
