The Lawrence County School District announced Monday night it would move all Tuesday instruction to virtual learning in anticipation of severe weather.

“Out of safety concerns for all, students and staff should not report to school campuses or offices tomorrow,” the announcement said. “In the event widespread power outages prohibit virtual instruction, it may be necessary to make up this day at a later date. Please stay safe and weather aware during this time.”

On-campus classes and regular office hours are set to resume Wednesday, April 6.
