Funeral services Dorothy E. Hamrick, 80, of Brookhaven, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Red Star Ward. Burial will be in Red Star Ward Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 until 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Red Star Ward.

Mrs. Hamrick died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven.

Mrs. Hamrick was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Andrew Britt and Sarah Falvey Britt; her husbands, John Brady, Harvey Owens and Jessie Hamrick; her sisters, Arcola Brady, Winnie Hurst and Eunice Smith; and her brothers, Edward Britt, Heber Britt and Hiram Britt.

She is survived by her sons; Larry Brady and wife, Betty; John Michael Brady; and Scott Brady and wife, Joy, of Picayune; her daughter, Patricia Hauptman, and husband Gary of Chalmette, La.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
