Services for Ida Belle Lambert Westbrook, of Bogue Chitto, are10 a.m. Saturday, July 30 at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Westbrook, 87, died July 27, 2005, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Lawrence Countyon Nov. 30, 1917, to Joe C. Lambert and Ida R. Fuller Lambert. Herfoster mother was Lou Turpin.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of member of First BaptistChurch in Baker, La. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her foster mother; fivesisters; two brothers; one foster sister; five foster brothers; andone grandchild, William Lester “Shad” Freeman..

Survivors are her husband of 66 years, William R. Westbrook Jr.,of Bogue Chitto; her daughter Mary S. Freeman and her husband,Archie, of Bogue Chitto; her son, Earnest “Butch” Westbrook and hiswife, Paula, of Slaughter, La.; her granddaughters, Margo Smith andher husband, Billy, Demetra “DeeDee” Cothren and her husband,Tracy, of Bogue Chitto, Monica Decker, Cheresse Mathews and herhusband, Randy, all of Louisiana, and Tonya Deville and herhusband, Kurt, of Jena, La.; her grandsons, Archie W. Freeman andhis wife, Trudy, of Kansas, and Richy Westbrook, of Jena, La.; 12great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
