Funeral services for Sara Emma Franklin Breaux of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 849 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 18, from 10 until 11 a.m. at Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Breaux, 95, died Nov. 14, 2013, at her home.

She was born and raised in Lincoln County until marrying Lloyd Breaux and moving to Louisiana. Upon retirement, she moved back to Brookhaven where she enjoyed playing golf and showing off her cooking talents, especially her chocolate chip cookies. She received many perfect attendance Awards from Holly Springs Baptist Church for her faithfulness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Breaux; her daughter, Sandra Breaux; her grandson, Joshua Ives; her parents, James Thomas Franklin Sr. and Ruth Laird Franklin; her sisters, Ethel Harris, Edith Dickerson, Donis Gardner, Vera Vickery and Margaret Landry; and her brothers, James Thomas Franklin Jr. and Vollie Franklin.

Mrs. Breaux is survived by her daughter, Sharon Ives, of Houston; her sisters, Paula Franklin Walker and Bertille Franklin Johnson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
