Services for Wardell W. Britt of Brookhaven are 3:30 p.m.,Thursday, June 14, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Britt, 84, died June 12, 2001, at Haven Hall Nursing Home.He was born in Lincoln County on Sept. 3, 1916, to Wilford WardellBritt and Christen Newell Britt.

He was retired from Royal Maid in Hazlehurst. He was a member ofthe Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ethel MaeBritt; and one brother and three sisters.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Wilford and LisaBritt of Brookhaven; his daughter and son-in-law, Christen Violaand Don McKinley of Florence; his grandchildren, Danna, Judy andMichael McKinley, and Paige and Corey Britt; and hisgreat-grandchild, Austin Fletcher.
