Services for James Bernard “B. B” McCaffrey of Bogue Chitto are2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Cold Springs Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. McCaffrey, 78, died Feb. 21, 2002, at the V. A. MedicalCenter in Jackson. He was born in Bogue Chitto on Aug. 19, 1923, toJim McCaffrey and Irma McCaffrey.

He was a retired boilermaker and welder. He was a member of ColdSprings Church of Christ. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his father; his sister, Jean LeggettByrd; and his great-granddaughter, Cami McCaffrey.

Survivors are his wife, Margie McCaffrey of Bogue Chitto; hisson and daughter-in-law, Richard and Murlie McCaffrey of BogueChitto; his daughter and son-in-law, Charma and Rodney Johnson ofBogue Chitto; his grandchildren, Melane Crosby, Tate McCaffrey,Trinidy Wilson, Page Nelson, Dawn Johnson and Andrew Johnson; hisstepgrandchildren, Misty Spears and Josh Allred; hisgreat-grandchildren, Laken, Kaylie, Marcus, Charlsie, and Britton;and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sabrina, Shyanah and Jacob.
