Graveside services for James Marvin Rawls of Florence are 2:30p.m. Sunday, March 31, at Rosehill Cemetery.

Mr. Rawls, 71, died Friday, March 29, 2002, at VeteransAdministration Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Monticello onAug. 18, 1930, to the late John Marshal and Mattie Boyte Rawls.

He was a retired shop supervisor for Thermo-King Co. He was amember of the Baptist faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran of theKorean War.

Preceding him in death were his son, James Berry Rawls, and abrother, Charles Rawls.

Survivors are his wife, Flora Perez Rawls; son, Joshua B. Rawls,both of Florence; daughters, Jilda Williams of Denham Springs, LisaD. Cooper of Brookhaven, Lisa Bryant of Florence and Paula Bookerof Lumberton, Texas; brothers, Jay H. Rawls of McComb and RayHarold Rawls of Davis, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.

Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
