Services for Bobbie L. Kirkland of Braxton are 2 p.m., Friday,April 12, at Braxton United Methodist Church with burial in BraxtonCemetery.

Mrs. Kirkland, 75, died April 10, 2002, at Baptist MedicalCenter. She was born in Monticello to Ben and Lucy Lambert.

She had worked in the factory industry at Siemens. She had beenpresident of Braxton Planners and a member of the Braxton board ofaldermen. She was a member of Braxton United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Edward Buford Kirkland;and her son, Edward Kirkland.

Survivors are her son, Rayborn Lee Kirkland of Braxton; herdaughters, Geraldine Creason and Kathleen Orman, both of Braxton,and Margaret Ann Thomas of Philadelphia; her brothers, Nate Lambertand Bennie Lee Kirkland, both of Monticello; her sisters, Lara JaneKing of East Lincoln and Elma Ruth Blakenship of Lumberton; and 11grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
