Services for Vernon Wright of Bogue Chitto are 3 p.m., Tuesday,Oct. 22, at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home andTuesday at the church from 2-3 p.m.

Mr. Wright, 80, died Oct. 19, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Franklin County on Feb. 13, 1922, to DavidWright and Nettie Smith Wright.

He was a retired millwright with International Paper Company inNatchez. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a memberof Woodmen of the World. He was a veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brothers,Whitfield and T. J. Wright.

Survivors are his wife, Audrey Crosby Wright of Bogue Chitto;his son, Shelton Wright of Bogue Chitto; his daughter-in-law, DonnaWright of Bogue Chitto; his brother, Kenneth James Wright of Japan;his sister, Doris W. Smith of Bogue Chitto; his grandchildren andtheir spouses, Brandy and Stephen Reid of Brookhaven andChristopher and Becky Wright of Hattiesburg; and a host of niecesand nephews.
