First baseman Samantha Boutwell went 4-for-4 and the BrookhavenLady Panthers smashed Natchez 16-1 Monday in fastpitch softball atthe rain-soaked Hansel King Sportsplex. Ashley Sykes pitched ano-hitter, striking out 3 and walking none.

The Lady Panthers (3-3), coached by Eric Stokes, finished with13 hits. Boutwell double, tripled, collected 5 RBI and scored 4runs.

Mandy Vinson and Sykes each had 2 hits. Sykes had 3 RBI. KaylaPrince had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Cortney Fielder singled and drove in 2runs. Allyson Wallace and Brittany Smith singled.

Losing pitcher Ashley Mitchell struck out 1 batter and walked9.
