Services for Rebecca P. “Becky” Hawkins of Brookhaven were 11a.m., Wednesday, March 12, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church withburial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home was incharge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hawkins, 48, died March 9, 2003, at Baptist Medical Centerin Jackson. She was born in Natchez on Jan. 28, 1955, to Edgar PaulJacks and Mary Christina Seyfarth Jacks.

She was the business office billing supervisor at King’sDaughters Medical Center. She was a member of Pleasant GroveBaptist Church. She was a member of Eastern Star and Woodmen of theWorld. She was an active member of Willing Hearts Sunday SchoolClass and the UCT.

Survivors are her husband, William C. “Boots” Hawkins ofBrookhaven; her parents, Paul and Mary Jacks of Meadville; her sonand daughter-in-law, Greg and Colleen Hawkins of Homewood; herdaughter and son-in-law, Christi Hawkins Brantley and TravisBrantley of Monticello; her brother, Edgar Jacks of Meadville; hersister, Pat Farmer of Hopewell; her grandson, Kasey Tucker Corkernof Monticello; her granddaughter, Crystal Hawkins Wilson ofBrandon; her great-granddaughter, Jacquelyn Michelle Wilson ofBrandon; her great-grandson, Michael Lindsey Wilson of Brandon; herniece, Ashley Farmer of Hopewell; and her nephew, Ira Jacks ofMeadville.
