Services for Marzell Sudduth of McComb are 6 p.m., Friday, Aug.29., at at Young’s Funeral Home in Summit with burial at 9 a.m.,Saturday, in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Bogue Chitto. Services will beconducted by the Rev. James Miller.

Visitation is Friday from 5-6 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Sudduth, 39, died Aug. 25, 2003, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born inLincoln County on Aug. 6, 1964, to Joe Willie and LucilleSudduth.

He was a construction worker.

Preceding him in death were his mother; a brother, Willie JamesSudduth; and a sister, Mary Helen Barnes.

Survivors are Frances Alicia Carter; his son, Akeem Young; hisstepson, Taques Carter; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Stella andLarry Anderson of Bogue Chitto, and Margert Barnes, Sandra and OtisRansen, and Syrita Long, all of McComb, Rebecca Sudduth, Willie AnnSudduth of St. Louis, Mo., and Sara Lou and Tracy Griffin ofChicago, Ill.; his brother and sister-in-law, Henry Clay and MyrtisBarnes of Summit; his uncle, Tommy Earl Barnes of Magnolia; and hisaunts, Hattie Thompson and Mattie McKnight, both of Bogue Chitto; adevoted nephew, Richard Barnes; a devoted friend, Lonnie Ray Craft;and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews andother relatives and friends.
