Services for Leland Odom “Slick” Lewis of Sontag are 2 p.m.today, Jan. 13 at Holly Springs Baptist Church with burial in HollySprings Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Harrigill FuneralHome.

Mr. Lewis, 82, died Jan. 11, 2005, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on July 16, 1922, to James Webster Lewis andHautie Fugler Lewis.

He was a retired farmer and was also a retired die setter withJacobson Manufacturing. He was a veteran of the Army and served inWorld War II. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ruth AnnLewis; and one sister, Odeil Hoena.

Survivors are his son, Andy Leland Lewis of Sontag; his sister,Bonnie Brown of Brookhaven; and his brothers, James Lewis Jr., ofTexas, Steve Lewis, Jimmy Lewis and Nollie Lewis, all ofBrookhaven, and Maxie Lewis of Gonzolas, La.; and one uncle, TroyLewis of Brookhaven.
