Services for Ferrell Lee Walker, of Bogue Chitto, are 10 a.m.Wednesday at Johnson Grove Church of Christ with burial in thechurch cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Walker, 82, died Sept. 26, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Haynesville, La., on Aug. 4, 1923, to thelate Adolph Walker and Elma Robinson Walker.

He was a retired electrician for Exxon pipeline. He was a memberof Johnson Grove Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Julia SmithWalker; two brothers, Sherman Adkins and Sherrell Walker; and asister, Faye Morgan.

Survivors are his son, Wayne Walker of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Joyce Trahan-Alessi of Houma, La., and Brenda Halversonof Santa Fe, Texas; five grandchildren; and twogreat-grandchildren.
