Services for Lula Virginia Drane, of Yazoo City, were 1:30 p.m.Sunday at Stricklin-King Chapel with burial in Wesson CityCemetery.

Mrs. Drane, 80, died Dec. 2, 2005, of heart failure atMississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born inYazoo County on Feb. 28, 1925, to the late Nathan Waters Eldridgeand Molly Virginia Ward.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of First PresbyterianChurch of Wesson.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, AlbertJ. Drane.

Survivors are her nieces, Peggie Jenkins Ivers and Linda JenkinsKetchum, both of Yazoo City, Mila Jenkins Waller, of Lake Charles,La., Kelly Eldridge Tootle, of Biloxi, Ann Eldridge Walley, ofRichland, Carolyn Eldridge Simmons, of Franklin, Tenn., and RhenaDrane and Nan Drane, both of Wesson; and her nephews, John T.Jenkins, of Jacksonville, Fla., Lamar Eldridge and Thomas Eldridge,of Pearl, and Randall Drane, of Wesson.
