Rowland L. Brown
Services for Rowland L. Brown, of Macon, Ga., are 1 p.m. today,July 17, at the chapel of Hart’s Mortuary in Macon with Dr. BillHardee officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Brown, 81, died July 14, 2006.
He was retired from the Chevron Corporation as a manager in thefinance division with 31 years of service in Concord, Calif. Heheld a Law degree from La Salle University. He was a U.S. Navyveteran, serving in World War II aboard the U.S.S. Suwanee, wherehe was awarded numerous medals in active combat. He was a member ofVineville Baptist Church and the Lamp Lighters Sunday School Class.He was an avid golfer. He was a caring and loving husband andfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Aubrey Randolph BrownSr., and Annie Gunther Brown; and his brother, Aubrey RandolphBrown Jr.
Survivors are his wife, Thelma Dean Brownell Brown, of Macon;his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Mike Twibell, of Macon; andhis daughter, Debra Dee Brown, of Macon.

Peggy Reynolds
Services for Peggy Reynolds, of Silver Creek, are 2 p.m. today,July 17, at Bible Church in Silver Creek with burial in the churchcemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is today from 10 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the church.
Mrs. Reynolds, 66, died July 15, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn in Silver Creek on Nov. 8, 1939, to Woodrow W. Rester andAlpha Mae Stephens Rester Reynolds.
She was a cosmetologist. She attended Copiah-Lincoln JuniorCollege for training in truck driving and cosmetology. She was amember of Bible Church, where she was secretary/treasurer.
Preceding her in death were her father; her stepfather, WillieG. Reynolds; and her great-grandson, Cody Horan.
Survivors are her mother; her husband, Billy R. Reynolds; hersons, Stephen E. Reynolds, of New Hebron, James B. Reynolds, ofSilver Creek, Terry B. Reynolds, of New Hebron and Billy A. “Tony”Reynolds, of Silver Creek; her daughter, Schanta R. Preuss, of Oma;her brothers, Malcolm “Buck” Rester and Van Kelly Rester, both ofSilver Creek, Oscar Merle Rester, of Richland, and Toby H.Reynolds, of Silver Creek; her sister, Darlene Welch, of Prentiss;and her 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
