Services for Bernita Lyons Robinson, of Los Angeles, Calif.,were held on Friday, April 20, at True Vine Miracle Temple inLawndale, Calif., with burial in Inglewood Park Cemetery inInglewood, Calif. Solomon Mortuary in Los Angeles was in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Robinson, 64, died April 7, 2007, in Los Angeles. She wasborn on March 31, 1943, to Jim Lyons Sr. and Lee Ester Lyons.

She was a 1962 graduate of Eva Harris High School in Brookhaven.She was retired after 30 years of service with the ZumaManufacturing Co. She was a member of the True Vine MiracleTemple.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, CharlesEdward Robinson; her sisters, Doris Clotel Dillon, PaulineRichardson, Margaret Blackwell, Lee Ester Turner and Margie Logan;and her brother, Alvin Lyons Sr.

Survivors are her son, Edward Charles Robinson, of Los Angeles;her daughter, Robin Gale Robinson, of Los Angeles; her sisters, LouE. Bates, of Brookhaven, Mary McMorris, of Bogue Chitto, and MaxineMcGee and Audrey Jones, both of Chicago, Ill.; her brother, JimLyons Jr., of Elk Grove, Calif.; and her five grandchildren.
