Services for Lena Cameron Jackson, of Liberty, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Sept. 22 at Parson Hill M.B. Church in Liberty withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuaryand again Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Jackson, 87, died Sept. 13, 2007, at Franklin CountyMemorial Hospital in Meadville. She was born in Franklin County onJuly 16, 1920, to Norman Cameron and Alice Cameron.

She was retired. She was a member of Parson Hill M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Tommie”Bilbo” Jackson; three brothers, Jahue Cameron, W.R. Cameron andM.C. Cameron; and a sister, Rita Mae Johnson.

Survivors are her daughters Mary Lena Jackson, of Waukegan,Ill., Tommie Zine Veasley and her husband, Autley, of Milwaukee,Wisc., Mary Helen Jackson, of Rancho Cardova, Calif., ChristineKnox, of Jackson, Linda J. Smith and her husband, Carl, of Clinton;her sons, M.G. Jackson, of Chicago, Ill., Norman Jackson and hiswife, Mary, of North Chicago, Ill., Bobby E. Jackson, ofWashington, D.C., Ronnie D. Jackson, of Liberty, Gary W. Jacksonand his wife, Evelyn, of Byram; her sister, Areaner Webb, ofMeadville; her brother, Gradie Cameron, of Washington, D.C.; agoddaughter, Mary Ramsey, of Liberty; 10 grandchildren; eightgreat-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relativesand friends.
