Milton J. Duval Sr.

Services for Milton J. Duval Sr., of Brookhaven, will be held at2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Duval, 69, died May 15, 2008, at Central Mississippi MedicalCenter in Jackson. He was born on Aug. 16, 1938, to Elfage Duvaland Pearl Vinning Duval.

He was a welder and a member of the First Assembly of God ofBrookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his daughter, GlendaDuval Thomas; and his two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors are his wife, Rushell Rancie Duval; his sons, MiltonJ. “Joey” Duval Jr. and Eddie Duval, both of Fresno, Calif., CraigDuval, of Lydia, La., and Shane Duval, of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Cheryl Duval and Cindy Redardi, of both of Morgan City,La.; his 16 grandchildren, including a special grandchild, MatthewThomas.

Dorothy E. Gaul

Services for Dorothy E. Gaul, of Monticello, will be held at 10a.m. on Saturday, May 17, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Churchin Brookhaven with burial in Union Cemetery in Brookhaven. WilsonFuneral Home in Monticello is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the church.

Mrs. Gaul, 86, died May 15, 2008, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Nov. 7, 1921, toWilliam Brennan and Nellie Anderson Brennan.

She was a homemaker and an avid bridge player for manyyears.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Richard J.Gaul Sr.; her son, Richard J. Gaul Jr.; and two sisters.

Survivors are her daughters, Dottie Surdi and husband Bob, ofSan Diego, Calif., Charlene Dunn and husband Ronnie, of Brookhaven,and Donna Myers and husband Vern, of Sterling, Ill.; her sister,Veronica La Conte, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; her sevengrandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Phillip Eugene ‘Pete’ Golman

Services for Phillip Eugene “Pete” Golman, of Roxie, will beheld at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 16, at Marshall Funeral Home Chapelin Bude with burial in Roxie City Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the funeral home.

Mr. Golman, 78, died May 12, 2008, at Jefferson County NursingHome. He was born in Little Springs on Dec. 23, 1929, to JamesHomer and Laura Gladys Golman.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his loving and devoted wife, Mary L. Golman, ofRoxie; his sons, Robert Alan Golman and Brian Lee Golman, both ofRoxie; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bro. Fred Sandidge

Services for Bro. Fred Sandidge, of Brookhaven, will be held at11 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel onJackson Street with burial in Cold Springs Church of ChristCemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Sandidge, 83, died May 15, 2008, at Silver Cross Home inBrookhaven. He was born in Lincoln County on March 31, 1925, toScott Sandidge and Nannie Jo Lane Sandidge.

He was a longtime Church of Christ minister. He and his wifewere the owners and operators of Sandidge Printing Co. He was aveteran of the United States Navy and served during World War II.He was a longtime member of Cold Springs Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Etta LouWatts Sandidge; and his son, Barry Sandidge.

Survivors are his daughters, Susan Sandidge Smith and husbandAllen, and Lawana Sandidge Latham and husband Jim, all ofBrookhaven; his sisters, Toodles Gatlin, of Johnston Station, andJosephine Enlow, of Columbus; his grandchildren, Lawson Smith, MattSmith, Laura Delaune and Jimmy Latham; and his great-grandchildren,Noah Smith, Katelyn Smith and Melissa Pigott.
